We decided to catch the super early bus to Mostar, Bosnia from Kotor to visit the city in a day and leave next day to Sarajevo. That was without taking into consideration boarder control.
The bus ticket was €22 plus €1 for each luggage to be stored in the bus.
Leaving at 7:40am with an estimated arrival of 13:00, we ended up checkin at our hotel at 16:00 thanks to boarder control. Immigration itself didn’t take long as the driver picks up passports and IDs then brings them back after stamping.
A couple of hours were all we needed to enjoy the small town. We were lucky to catch the scene of a diver in his mankini collecting coins to dive into the river from the bridge.
Overall, Mostar was more lively than what we expected it to be with some amazing cheap food. The mixed meat grill plate was about €6, served for one, satisfied two hangry souls.
Next day, we were ready to continue our journey to Sarajevo. After a delicious breakfast cake made by our super welcoming host, we headed to the bus station to get the 11:00am bus (€10+ KM1 for luggage handling) to arrive at 13:00 in Sarajevo.
