Early morning checkout from our beautiful hotel in Silom. Second time and not the last one staying around the snake farm for our vaccinations.
Off to the airport a bit early to get a re-entry permit.
We got there too early and since the permit can only be applied after passing immigration, we had a couple of hours to kill before checkin time. We decided to have an early lunch in the local food court at the domestic aisle of Don Muang Airport.
What a wonderful find! Food was great AND cheap. So if you haven’t had enough of Thai food before leaving, do checkout the 3rd floor of the domestic aisle at the airport called Magic Food Court, hidden behind a 7/11 and right next to the parking lot.
After a few drinks, we were ready to get going. It was quite an easy process. I had a passport size photo on me and had already printed the application ahead of time, so all I had to do was pass security AND immigration to apply. The whole process took less than 5 min, so I was happy I didn’t have to spend half a day at the immigration office like what other bloggers recommended. Just make sure you have your 1000 Baht ready.
